SKERPIOEN GIVES WUHLF EXTRA STING

Here’s a new addition to Wuhlf’s range of earth moving equipment.

The 70kW Skerpioen, which translates to scorpion, is a backhoe loader ideal for digging foundations, ditches and holes. This new addition to its stable is also manufactured in South Africa and costs R592 800.00 (VAT inclusive).

The Skerpioen’s backhoe is ideal for accurately digging holes and ditches, while its front loader is used to remove debris quickly. The backhoe has a moving arm with a 160° angle of rotation and can reach a height of 5 000 mm. The arm can be lowered to the ground from its maximum height rapidly and the backhoe is 500 mm wide and can dig a hole as deep as 3 400 mm.

The Skerpioen’s front loader is 1 900 mm wide and can load 1 m³. Stabilising legs keep this piece of machinery in place while digging. Its wheel base is 2 160 mm with its length coming in at 6 320 mm, shovel and loader included. It reaches a height of 3 230 mm.

Wuhlf manufactures its robust machinery, which is ideal for Africa, near Pretoria and also supplies parts and accessories.
