EXCELLENT SA MUTTON MERINOS AT 10TH TRIO PRODUCTION AUCTION

Two rams from Jan and Thomas Uys of Steynsrus, 3002 GU and 2234 GU, achieved the top prices at the auction when they were sold for R15 000 each to Peet van Zyl of Heilbron and Jan Harm Bosch of Steynsrus.

A total of 40 rams were sold for an average price of R10 475.

OVK Ladybrand hosted the auction, with Gareth Hughes as auctioneer.

With the most expensive rams in the auction are (from left) Peet van Zyl (buyer), Jaco Saaiman (OVK), Gareth Hughes (auctioneer), Jan and Thomas Uys (sellers) and Jan Harm Bosch (buyer).
